About Pfeiffer Fitness.
Poolates® Inventor, Rebecca Pfeiffer
Rebecca Pfeiffer, JD, MPH, Certified Pilates Instructor, developed the internationally acclaimed aquatic exercise program, Poolates®. Based on the popular Pilates method, Poolates® takes place in water offering exercisers all the benefits of Pilates with the facilitating nature of water buoyancy which can make exercising easy on joints. Pfeiffer’s challenging yet gentle water-based approach to a mind-body workout, is being embraced by fitness and wellness professionals everywhere as a true advancement in the field.
Pfeiffer is passionate about health and fitness. She has completed post-graduate studies in anatomy, physiology, neurology, histology and embryology, is a certified Pilates instructor and certified personal trainer, and worked as a health policy coordinator in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Pfeiffer has been teaching for more than a decade, and today she continues to share her skill, knowledge and passion for wellness, training instructors worldwide in the Poolates® method.
Pfeiffer has contributed articles to professional publications, and serves as a consultant to fitness equipment manufacturers.
Poolates® has been featured in Spa Magazine, Fit Yoga, Island Life Magazine, Pilates Style Magazine, The Miami Herald, International Aquatics Magazine, Club Industry’s Fitness Business Pro Magazine and on Univision, Telemundo, and CBS and ABC affiliate stations.
Based in Miami, she continues to train an elite clientele.
