Instructor Licensure
While the in-class training courses are short, they offer in-depth education, and, in each course, participants will be required to pass a short answer, concept-based written exam and a practical teaching exam. Once the course is finished, instructors will have specific recommendations as to what to practice and improve on before teaching their first class.  

While a Pilates certification is not required for instructors interested in Poolates^® Basic, all participants must have observed and/or participated in a minimum of 10 Pilates land-based classes.

Courses are designed for fitness and wellness professionals who are ready to teach our methods to anyone, including those whose conditions require special exercise considerations.

Poolates Basic

Basic Group Poolates^® Instructor Training
$499.  Entitles instructor who passes the course to teach basic group classes and use the Poolates^® name and wordmark. This foundations course is required before completing any additional or advanced Poolates coursework.

Poolates Personal

After completing Poolates Personal, instructors will be licensed to teach Poolates^® one-on-one with all clients, beginning, advanced or special populations. After 3 months, successful instructors will be eligible to apply for Master Instructor status.

Poolates Intensive

• Intensives
  6 days, on site, $1,499. (3 person minimum) For persons with little or no Pilates or fitness background, Weeklong Intensives combine Basic and Personal, apprentice teaching and extra focus on anatomy and movement. Six day intensives are also recommended as “in-house” trainings and for people for whom Poolates^® will be their primary fitness or Pilates license.
• Mini-Intensives
  Mini-intensives in Miami--4 days, $999, including student teaching opportunities. This is the best course for health care providers or students with background in Pilates who want to get up and running in Poolates^® immediately to offer a complete program for their clients.

Poolates^® Master Instructor

Chosen candidates will receive additional training, be entitled to own page listing on www.Poolates.com, can represent Pfeiffer Fitness, llc,  at trade shows and teach designated Poolates instructor training courses.  Great opportunity to share Poolates^® with others and earn extra income. Can use “Poolates^® Master Instructor” designation and will earn more for classes and private sessions..

Advanced Poolates^® Instructor Training

Work with athletes, including surfers, skiers, boarders, and other pros in extreme and challenging sports.  Coursework focuses on extreme Poolates^® movements, with props.

Pre-Natal Poolates

Learn to tailor Poolates^® programs for expectant mothers.  Curriculum focuses on monitoring pre-natal participants, safe regressions and progressions for pregnancy, group and personal training formats for the pre-natal client.

Group Registration

In the event that more than 6 participants are registering from the same health club, YMCA, JCC or other organization, group pricing may be available. Please contact info@poolates.com or Pfeiffer Fitness, llc, at 305-773-0560 to receive approval of your group and your special group discount code.

Registration/payment policy

Registration must be received no later than 23 days prior to the start date of each course. General courses require a minimum of 6 participants; Intensives require a minimum of 4 participants. Maximum number of participants will vary by location. All payments are final. In the event that a course is rescheduled by Pfeiffer Fitness, llc, tuition may be applied in full to a subsequent course.
